Wealth is first a state of Mind

Wealth comes in many forms, Emotionally, Sipirtually and socially. We can have allot of possessions, but be poor in spirit, or be under allot of mental or emotional duress. No amount of money will fix that. No amount of money cannot make us happy, if we ourselves are not happy first. You can be poor financially, and with material goods, and still be rich in other ways, and perfectly happy. This is to add to what Bill Gates says below. 

MY DAUGHTER IS NOT GOING TO MARRY A POOR MAN

Bill Gates explains why his daughter can't marry a poor man.

A few years ago someone attended a conference in the United States on investment and finance. One of the speakers was Bill Gates and in the Q&A phase, person asked a question that had made everyone laugh.

If he, one of the richest men in the world, could accept his daughter marrying a poor or modest man?

Bill replied:

First, understand that wealth doesn't mean having a bank account with a lot of money.

Wealth is first the ability to create wealth.

Example: Someone who wins money in the lottery or gambling. Even earning 100 million he is not a rich man, he is a poor man with a lot of money. That is why 90% of lottery millionaires are poor again after 5 years.

You also have rich people who have no money. Example: Most entrepreneurs

They are already on the path of wealth, even if they have no money, because they are developing their financial intelligence and that is wealth.

How are the rich and the poor different?

If you see a young man who decides to graduate, learn new things, trying to continuously improve, know that he is a rich man.

If you see a young man who thinks the problem is the state, and believes that the rich are all thieves and who constantly criticize, know that he is a poor man.

The rich are convinced that they only need information and training to take off, the poor believe that others should give them money to take off.

In conclusion, when I say that my daughter will not marry a poor man, I am not talking about money. I speak of this man's ability to create wealth.

Sorry for what I'm going to say, but most criminals are poor. When they are in front of money, they lose their minds, that's why they steal, assault, and so on.

For them, that's a grace, because they don't know how they themselves could make money.

One day, a bank guard found a bag full of money, took the bag and handed it to the bank manager.

People called this guard an idiot, but in reality that guard was just a rich man who had no money.

1 year later, the bank offered him a position of receptionist, 3 years later he was in charge of clients and 10 years later, he managed the regional direction of that bank. Now he manages hundreds of employees and his annual bonuses are beyond the value he may have stolen.
