SGS3 - Samsung Galaxy S 3 Direct Message/Dial How to

After much searching on the internet, and countless hours lost due to my own stupidity. I finally found out how to get direct dialing and messaging on my SGS 3. It is much more obvious on previous versions of android.


1. Long press on the home screen. Select the top option "Add to Home screen"

2. Select the top option again, "Apps and Widgets"

3. Select widgets, and then scroll over looking for a little icons that say "Contact 1x1", "Direct Dial 1x1", Direct message 1x1" 

 

4. Press and hold this icon to drop it onto your main screen, and it will then bring you to your list of contacts. Select the contact you want.
