CHILDREN'S LAW

All of us at one time or another were children. For most of us this was a happy and carefree time of our lives. There are laws that govern the universe and our lives. This list is a compilation of what I have termed to be Children's Laws. These give an idea to specific thought process of how children in general act. This is not a matter of psychology, this is just an observation from my own personal experience.

There may be more or less of these laws. These are to show how simple and fun a child can be. And what a strange world this is. These were attempted to be done from a child's point of view.

CHILDREN'S LAW SAYS:

10. When going anywhere, all the other kids have the best toys, or are playing with them. My barbie needs a new wardrobe, or my action figures are outdated. Time to upgrade everything to the newer models.

9. Grocery shopping is only fun when it involves candy, snacks or toys. Who wants to walk around aimlessly looking at food? What is the fun in that? It makes me tired having to keep up with my parents, and riding around in this dumb cart I never get to explore anything, or play with anything.

8. Bath time is no fun. We do not get to play with any toys, and the soapy water some times hurts our eyes and gets in our ears. The water is never just right. Swimming and playing with hose and sprinkler is more fun. You are around friends, and can splash people. When splashing in the tub, mommy and daddy get mad.

7. We are never ready to go on time when the adults need us to be. What they want to do is no fun. This is why we are almost always ready when it is something for us.

6. When we get food all over our face and hands, or very dirty, we want to find someone to hug and kiss who is nice and clean. We are just punishing them for making us sleep during play time.

5. We are always tired from playing during the day, and do not want to nap. The day is so long we must not waste a minute of it by not playing. This is why we always fight at nap time, but will for some reason sleep when left alone. This is because we have no one to play with or show what we are doing.

4. We always want the loudest and most obnoxious toys. It is no fun if we cannot show off to Grandma and Grandpa when they come to visit. They are the ones who gave it to us.

3. When we go on family vacations, we want to eat some thing that our parents say is incredibly expensive that we could get at home for free. We hardly ever get to eat this at home, it is one my favorite foods.

2. No matter what we have on our plate, we always want what the other family members are having. My parents drinks always taste better, and my siblings food tastes better than mine.

And the number one Children's Law . . . . . .
1. No matter how much or little we have eaten, there is always room for dessert. Dessert is the best part of the meal, why can't we have that first?
